DEATH CLAIMS OLIVER DUPUIS
Veteran Employe of A.G.M. Company Dies Early Today


TWO RIVERS, (Special) — Oliver Dupuis, 59, veteran employe of Plant No. 1 of the Aluminum Goods Manufacturing company, died at his home at 1517 Jefferson street at 4:50 this morning. He had been in ill health for more than three years and was confined to bed for the last three weeks. Funeral services will be held Friday morning at 9 o'clock at St. Luke's Catholic church, with the Very Rev. Dean C. V. Hugo officiating. Interment will be in Holy Cross cemetery. The body will be taken to the residence from the C. J. Jansky funeral home Wednesday afternoon.

Born in Coleman, Marinette county, Sept. 10, 1876, Mr. Dupuis left his home as a youth to work in the lumber camps. For a number of years he lived in Duluth, Minn. Mr. Dupuis came to Two Rivers 30 years ago. He was first employed by the Eggers Veneer Seating company, and later worked in the yards of the Nelson Lumber company. For the last 23 years he was an employe of the Aluminum Goods Mfg. Co. Plant No. 1.

In 1907 in St. Luke's church Mr. Dupuis married Miss Katherine Courchaine, formerly of Oconto. The widow survives with five daughters, Mrs. Bernard Simono of this city, Violet, Jeanette, Carol Mae and Joan, all at home, and two sons, Joseph and Mark, also at home. He is survived also by five sisters, Mrs. Joseph LePine, Mrs. Peter Belonger, Mrs. Frank Duprey and Mrs. Max Laurent, all of this city, and Mrs. John Hansen of Coleman, and two brothers, Alphonse of Coleman and Wilfred Dupuis of this city. There is also one grandchild, Lou Ann, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Simono.

For many years Mr. Dupuis was a member of the Holy Name Society of St. Luke's church.
