Mrs. Xavier Pozorski, 76, of 1218 South 18th St., Manitowoc, died Sunday at the home, following a lingering illness.
Funeral services will be held at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, and at 9 o'clock at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. John Landowski will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
She was born Ella Poklinkowski in Poland in 1876 and nine years later accompanied her parents to Manitowoc. She was married to Mr. Pozorski in 1897. Her husband died in 1945.
Survivors are eight daughters, Mrs. Ray Ludka, Mrs. LaVerne Polly, Mrs. Andrew Chihantek, Mrs. Adver Fickett and Mrs. George Wheeler of Manitowoc, Mrs. Charles Hettman of Rt. 4, Manitowoc, Mrs. Albert Heim of Cato and Mrs. Stanley Lusnia of Rockwood; five sons, Peter, Frank, John, Stanley, and Henry all of Manitowoc; four brothers, Frank, Joseph, Anton and John all of Manitowoc; three sisters, Mrs. Laura Komorski, Mrs. Ann Selch and Mrs. Rose Karleski of Manitowoc; 35 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Tuesday. The rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
