Hattie Krueger, age 89, of 211 Cty. Hwy. JJ in Collins, passed away on Friday, June 20, 1997, at the home of her daughter.

Funeral Services will be held at 7 p.m. on Monday, June 23, 1997, at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Collins. Rev. Herbert R. Kruschel will officiate with burial in Knollwood Cemetery, town of Kossuth.

She was born May 20, 1908, in the town of Rockland, daughter of the late Fred and Emily Schneider. She married Reuben Krueger on December 15, 1926, at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Collins. She farmed with her husband, was a lifetime member of St. Peter Lutheran Church, Collins, and a past member of the Ladies Aid.

Survivors include one daughter, Evelyn Fischer, Collins; one son and daughter-in-law, Gordon and Donna Krueger, Collins; Six grandchildren, Kathy (David) Duchow, Collins, Daryl (Barb) Krueger, Valders, LeAnn (Joseph) Kandler, Chilton, JoLynn (Randal) Schmitz, Manitowoc, Kyle and fiancé, Darla Maerta, Collins, Ryan and special friend, Carrie Lau, Collins; eight great-grandchildren, Scott and Nicole Duchow, Alissa and Amber Krueger, Hunter Rikki Schmitz, Dakota and Tylor Kandler; three sisters-in-law, Mrs. Mabel Krueger, Reeedsville, Clara Kieper, Brillion, Mrs. Verona Helgeoson, Collins; many nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1981; one son-in-law, Wallace Fischer; two sisters and three brothers.

Friends may call at the church on Monday from 3:30 p.m. until the time of service.

The Wieting Funeral Home, Reedsville, assisted the family with funeral arrangements.
