Mrs. Osborne Mullins, 78, of the Wallace Creek community, died Monday, October 16, 1972, in McAllen, Texas, following an extended illness. Funeral services were held Wednesday, October 18, in Howell-Doran Funeral Chapel conducted by H. Watson. Burial was in Wallace Creek Cemetery.
The former Ollie Eleanor Hayes, Mrs. Mullins was born August 31, 1894, in Travis County, Texas, the daughter of A. A. Hayes and Louiza Thurman Hayes. She was married to Osborne Mullins on December 7, 1919, in San Saba County. Her husband died March 19, 1971. She had been a resident of San Saba County most of her life and she was a member of the Church of Christ
Survivors include her son, O. N. Mullins of McAllen; one brother, Clyde Hayes of San Saba; and three grandchildren.
