Cpl. Edward G. Koch, son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Koch, passed away March 4, at Madigan General Hospital, Ft. Lewis, Wash., from injuries received in an automobile accident the same day.

Cpl. Koch was born in Blackwell, Forest County, May 23, 1930. He received his grade school education in the following schools; Townsend, Oconto County; Carter, Forest County, and Kellnersville, Manitowoc County. He has been in the army for the past two and one-half years.
The Koch family moved to Calumet county in October of last years. They resided on the Marshall Hephner farm in the town of Rantoul.

Survivors include the parents, seven brothers, Leonard of Valders, Ronald, Thomas, Jr., Richard, Phillip, David and LeRoy, all at home; six sisters, Mrs. Edwin (Beulah) Pinger and Charlotte of Manitowoc, and Vivian, Vera, Elsie and Eleanora at home.

Funeral services will be Friday at the funeral home. Services will be conducted by the Rev. E. G. Behm of Kiel The Grassold-Schmidlkofer past of the American Legion will render military honors. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery.
