Leonard R. Koch, 77, longtime resident of Green Bay, died Tuesday, July 27, 2010, at the Wisconsin Veterans Home in King, Wis. He was born May 26, 1933, to the late Thomas Edward and Margaret (Barstow) Koch. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Leonard had been employed by Gauthier Construction as a diesel mechanic for many years. His interests included playing cards, fishing, traveling, and watching the Green Bay Packers. He especially enjoyed doing things with his family.

Survivors include his children and their spouses, Leonard Duane and Linda Koch, Keith and Sandy Koch, Cindy and Wilbert C. Rentmeester, Brian Scott and Debbie Koch, Allen Dean Koch, Darlene and John Caudle; 17 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; his brothers and sisters and their spouses, Ronald and Zita Koch, Plymouth; Elsie and Eugene Berndt, St. Nazianz; Thomas and Karen Koch, Rosendale; Philip Koch, Manitowoc; Elnora Ahearn, Pineville, La.; David Koch, Manitowoc; Leroy and Sandi Koch, Brillion; Robert and Connie Koch, Manitowoc; Barbara Moore, Cabot, Ark.; nieces and nephews.

Leonard was preceded in death by his wife, Katherine; a daughter, Tina Marie (Koch) Johnson; his parents, Thomas and Margaret Koch; his brothers and sisters and their spouses, Joni (Beulah) and Rudy Plocar, Edward Koch, Charlotte and Willard Meyer, Vivian and Raymond Nienhaus, Vera and Ervin Piechocky, Richard Koch.

Friends may call at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday (today). Friends may also call at the funeral home from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday. The Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with Rev. Amy Engebose officiating. Entombment will be in the Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum.
