Frank Neterval, 83, long time resident of Urness Township passed away Saturday at the Douglas county Hospital. The son of Joseph and Mary Neterval, he was born January 16, 1887 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He was united in marriage to Florence Borah on May 21, 1918 in Madison, South Dakota. They moved to a farm in Urness Township in 1935. He was in the army during World War I serving in France.
He is survived by his wife and one son, Virgil, of Evansville, ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Russell.
Funeral services were held October 30th, from the Calvary Covenant church of Evansville. Rev. Arthur Bergman officiating. Burial was in the Mound Grove Cemetery at Evansville.
