Mrs. Ruby M. Pohland, 58, of 222 Reed Street, Chilton, passed away on Saturday, March 26, 1988 at Calumet Medical Center, Chilton.
She was born on July 6, 1929 in Brillion, the daughter of the late Emil and Minnie (Arnhoelter) Enneper.
On Nov. 8, 1952, she was married to Arthur Pohland in Brillion.
Mrs. Pohland was employed by the Valley Bank of Chilton, formerly of the Commercial Bank, since the early 1960’s. Prior to that, she worked for Larson Cleaners in Chilton.
She was a member of Ebenezer United Church of Christ in Chilton, president and member of the Business and Professional Women of Calumet County Red Cross Association; and was a former member of the Eastern Star.
Survivors are her husband, Arthur; two daughters, Mrs. Timothy (Barbara) Schwartz of Chilton and Paula Pohland of Appleton; a son, David of Chilton; three grandchildren, Jennifer, Jessica and Michael Schwartz; two brothers, Walter Enneper of Brillion and Eric Enneper of Bailey’s Harbor; five sisters, Mrs. Viola Olsen of Jacksonville, Florida; Mrs. Alma Hansen of Green Bay; Mrs. Carlton (Irmgard) Werner of Danville, Ill.; Mrs. Merlin (Ruth) Zahn, a twin sister of Chilton; and Mrs. John (Lois) Davis, of San Antonio, Texas. She was preceded in death by a sister, Mrs. Helen Keller and two brothers, Edward and Harold Enneper.
Funeral services were at Wieting-Schneider Funeral Home, Chilton. Burial was in Hillside Cemetery, Chilton.
