Funeral services for Mrs. Mathilda Geick, 68, of Rosenberg, were held Monday at 2 p.m. from the St. Paul Lutheran Church. Rev. Hugo Probsa officiated.
She was born in Salem on February 23, 1890 and came to Fort Bend County in 1911 from Brenham.
She is survived by her husband, Ben Geick of Rosenberg; two sons, Marvin of Rosenberg and Milton Geick of Rosenberg; two daughters, Mrs. Florence Caddel of Rosenberg and Mrs. Myrtle Wiseman of Ann Arbor, Mich.; two brothers, John Loesch of Brenham and Theo Loesch of Rosenberg; and six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were George Reading, Clarence Foss, Harry Bernshausen, Albert Talasek, Cecil Baker, and Raymond Rude.
Burial was in the Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of the Garmany-Janca Funeral Home.
