Funeral services for long-time Roseberg resident Marvin Joachim Geick, 76, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the United Church of Christ in Rosenberg.
Geick, a former Precinct 2 Justice of the Peace, died Saturday at his home. Geick retired after 30 years from Hughes Tool Co. of Houston in 1971. Geick also owned a farm outside Rosenberg for many years.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Clara Blase Geick.
Geick is survived by his brother, Milton Geick of Rosenberg; two sons, Dean Blase Geick of Marshfield, Mo. and Byron Benjamin Geick of Pleak; a daughter, Sandra Anne Wilson of Carrollton; and five grandchildren, Matt and Eric Mikel of Pleak, Jimmy Dean Geick of Marshfield, Mo., Kimberly C. Tate of Ft. Worth, and Robert A Tate of Dallas.
