W. KLOIDA DIES AT AGE OF 67
Heart Stroke 12 Days Ago Is Fatal To Resident
Wenzel Kloida, 67, died at his home at 815-20th street at 10:35 last night. He suffered a heart stroke 12 days ago, from which he never rallied. He had been ailing for the past year.
Deceased was born in August, 1867 in Bohemia. He came to this country at the age of seven years and located in this city five years ago after leaving Lena, Wis. He was employed at the Eggers company in this city until ailments forced him to retire.
Mr. Kloida was married in Menominee, 42 years ago, to Maggie Fait, who with six children and three brothers survive. The children are Mrs. Charles Witak of Grovers, Wis., Mrs. John Graham of Oconto, Mrs. John Olson of Manitowoc, Mrs. Roy Kiefer of Lena and James and Frank of Manitowoc. The brothers are Jacob of Antigo, Joseph of Marinette and Frank of Tisch Mills. Also surviving are eighteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
The funeral will be held Monday morning at 9 o’clock from the St. Luke’s Catholic church with burial at the Holy Cross cemetery. The body can be viewed at the C. J. Jansky funeral home until Saturday when it will be moved to the home.
Mr. Kloida was a member of the Z.C.B.J.
