Mrs. John Kornely, 75, formerly of Rt. 2, Two Rivers, and more recently a resident of Park Lawn Home, Manitowoc, died Sunday at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, and at 11 a.m. at St. Luke Catholic Church, Two Rivers. The Rev. Earl Brouchoud will officiate and burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers.
Mrs. Kornely, nee Lydia Silbersack, was born July 17, 1894, in Town of Two Rivers, daughter of the late George and Mary Kronforst Silbersack. She was married to John Kornely March 20, 1913, at Two Rivers. They resided in the Town of Kossuth until 1919, when they moved to Town of Two Rivers. Her husband preceded her in death Dec. 8, 1951.
Survivors include three sons Anton and Lloyd of Rt. 2, Two Rivers, and Norman of Manitowoc; four daughters, Mrs. Ray (Mildred) Schmidt and Mrs. Mabel Dallman of Manitowoc, Mrs. Louise Frank of Two Rivers and Mrs. Jack (Dorothy) Ray of Marietta, Ga.; a brother, Roland, of Rt. 2, Two Rivers; 25 grandchildren and 17 great grand-children. A son, a daughter, a brother and a sister preceded her in death.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 o'clock this Monday afternoon until the time of services Tuesday. A memorial service will be at 8:15 o'clock this Monday evening.
