Engelbert Lenz, 84, 64 Columbia St., Chilton, was pronounced dead on arrival at Calumet Memorial Hospital Monday evening form injuries suffered in a one car crash.

Born in the Town of Brother town on Aug. 9, 1886, he was a son of the late John and Barbara Hirand Lenz. On Jan. 10, 1912 he married the former Rose Utschig at New Holstein. Mr. Lenz was a carpenter and farmed in the Towns of New Holstein and Brothertown. The couple retired and moved to Chilton in 1931.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Elmer, R. 2, Chilton; two daughters, Mrs. Math (Marie) Thome of Johnsburg and Mrs. Henry (Verena) Carrieck of Menchester, Tenn.; 10 grandchildren and six great grandchildren; and a brother, Joseph of Two Rivers. Two brothers and a sister preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 9:30 a.m. at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, Chilton, and at 10 a.m. at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Chilton, the Rev. Alvin Auer, pastor, celebrant of the requiem Mass. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Chilton. Friends may call at the funeraI home after 3 p.m
