Funeral services for Ferdinand Lenz, 78, a former Charlesburg resident, were held at the Ritter Funeral home in Milwaukee. Burial was in Pinelawn Cemetery, Milwaukee with military rites at the graveside.

Mr. Lenz, who died Friday at his home in Cudahy, was born in Charlesburg Sept 1, 1888, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Lenz. He was a veteran of World War I.

He was a resident of the Milwaukee area for about 50 years.

His marriage to Anna Doyle was performed in Milwaukee Oct. 22, 1927.

Surviving are his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Stanley Markuc, Milwaukee, and two brothers, Engelbert of Chilton and Joseph of Two Rivers.
