Miss Blanche M. Hayden, 88, died early Wednesday morning, June 4, 1986 at St. Mary Home, Manitowoc. Funeral services will be 9 am Friday at St. Mary Home Chapel, Manitowoc. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Tom Wojciechowski O.F.M. and burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Reedsville.
Miss Hayden was born November 14, 1897 at Maple Grove, Manitowoc County, daughter of the late John and Ellen Fenlon Hayden. Miss Hayden had taught for a period of 45 years, first in Manitowoc County and later as a special education teacher in Cudahy, Wisconsin. She moved to Manitowoc in 1979 and resided at St. Mary Home since August, 1982.
Survivors include a sister-in-law, Evelyn Hayden of Manitowoc; 15 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Tom and Charles Hayden; three sisters, Bessie Rolland, Henrietta Henning and Ruth Lorrigan, and a nephew, Robert Rolland.
Friends may call at St. Mary Home Chapel, from 8:30 am Friday morning to the time of services. There will be no Thursday evening visitation. Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, is in charge of arrangements.
