Thomas H. Hayden, 84, of 314 Riverview Dr., Manitowoc, died Friday afternoon at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m. Monday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and 10 a.m. at St. Paul Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Duane Dionne will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Hayden was born Dec. 6, 1887, in the Town of Franklin, son of the late John and Ellen Fenlon Hayden. He married Elizabeth Kirby Nov. 4, 1914, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Maple Grove. He farmed in the Town of Cato until 1947 and then moved to Manitowoc where he was employed as an engineer at Normington's Laundry, Manitowoc until his retirement in 1958. He was a member of the Holy Name Society.
Survivors include his wife, two sons, William, of Stetsonville and John, of New York; four daughters, Mrs. Arthur (Honora) Dvorak and Mrs. Jerome (Mary) Egbert, of Cato, Mrs. John (Betty) Kelly and Mrs. Donald (Kathleen) Young, of Milwaukee; a brother, Charles, of Manitowoc; four sisters, Mrs. Bessy Rolland, of Reedsville, Mrs. Etta Henning and Miss Blanch Hayden, of Milwaukee, Mrs. Edward Lorrigan, of Chicago; 35 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 3 to 9 p.m. Sunday, where a memorial service will be at 8 p.m.
