Elizabeth J. (Bessie) Rolland, 91, formerly of Reedsville, died early Tuesday morning, May 13, at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 10:15 a.m. Friday at Reedsville Funeral Home and 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, Reedsville. The Revs. Donald Schneider, Donald Feller and John Neuser will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Rolland, nee Elizabeth Hayden, was born April 20, 1889, in the Town of Franklin, daughter of the late John and Ellen Fenlon Hayden. She was married to William Rolland Nov. 8, 1916, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Maple Grove.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Richard and Lillian Rolland of Milwaukee and Howard and Grace Rolland of Manitowoc; two daughters and sons-in-law, Arleen and Norbert Reedy of Denmark with whom she resided and Phyillis and Earl Kubale of South Bend, Ind.; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Jane Rolland of Reedsville; a sister, Miss Blanche Hayden of Manitowoc; two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Thomas Hayden and Mrs. Charles Hayden of Manitowoc, 18 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Her husband, a son, Robert, two brothers and two sisters preceded her in death.
Friends may call at Reedsville Funeral Home 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday and Friday until the time of service. A parish vigil will be 7 p.m. Thursday followed by St. Ann Christian Mothers Rosary at 7:30 p.m.
