Elizabeth F. Hayden, 93, a Manitowoc resident, who resided at St. Mary Home, Manitowoc, died late Tuesday morning, May 13, at St. Mary Home.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday at St. Paul Catholic Church,Manitowoc. The Rev. Ronald Reimer will officiate at the Mass of Christian Burial and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Hayden, nee Elizabeth Frances Kirby, was born April 20, 1893,at Grimms, Wis., daughter of the late William and Elizabeth O'Conner Kirby. She was married to Thomas Hayden, Nov. 4, 1914, at Maple Grove, Wis. The couple farmed in the Town of Grimms and also resided at Cato and Clarks Mills, prior to settling at Manitowoc Rapids. Her husband preceded her in death Dec. 13, 1971. Mrs. Hayden was an honorary member of St. Paul Parish Women.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law; four daughters and two sons-in-law; a sister, Veronica Rapp of San Clemente, Calif; 32 grandchildren and 42 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers, three sisters and three grandchildren.
Friends may call at St. Paul Catholic Church, Manitowoc, after 10 a.m. Friday. Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, is in charge of funeral arrangements.
