PIONEER RESIDENT DIES AT QUANAH
A.S. Clayton, 67, long time resident of Abilene, who died at Quanah yesterday after an illness of several months, will be buried this afternoon at Electra.
He was a brother of Mrs. J.F. Morrison. Mr. and Mrs. Morrison and daughters, Lillian, Frances, Madge and Mrs. Gaines Shults left this morning to attend the funeral.
Mr. Clayton was born March 17, 1870 and entered business in Abilene with his father, George Clayton who moved to Taylor County in 1884.
Survivors are his wife and a son, J.L. Clayton of Electra.
