husband of Lucille Young Trent, of Mt. Sterling, passed away Thurs-day, August 14, 2014. He was a 91 year old native of Breathitt County, son of the late Stokley and Alice Watkins Trent, a Army veteran of WWII, farmer and member of the Baptist Church. In addition to his wife, he is survived by 2 daughters, Marlene Saunders and Teresa Phelps, both of Mt. Sterling, a son, Mike Trent of Nicholasville, 12 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and a sister, Fern Dunn of Jeffersonville. He is preceded in death by 2 daughters, Jeanie Branham and Brenda Patrick, 11 brothers and 6 sisters. His funeral will be 1:00 Monday at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals, Pastor Lloyd Latimer presiding, with burial in Crown Hill Cemetery.
