STOKLEY TRENT DIES MARCH 19 IN LEXINGTON

Stokley Trent, 106, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Gay Brewer, Sr., in Lexington, at approximately 8:30 p.m. Sunday, March 19, from an apparent heart attack. He is survived by eight sons, Osa Trent, Mort Trent, Charlie Trent, and Marvin Trent, all of Lexington; Hershall Trent
of Huntsville, Ind., John Trent, Hamilton, Ohio; Lester Trent of Mt. Sterling, and Homer Trent of Owingsville; six daughters, Mrs. John Brewer, Matamorca, Mich., Mrs. Myrtle Collins of LaGrange and Mrs. Gay Brewer, Mrs. Phillip Litton, Mrs. Charles Rose, and Mrs. Ira Dunn, all of Lexington; three sisters, Melissa Bryant, Campton, Mrs. Ellen Smith of Mary, and Mrs. Rosie Wells of Stanton and a large number of grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 10 :00 a.m. Wednesday, March 22, at the Campton Baptist Church by the Rev. Al Gormly. Burial was in the Evans Cemetery with grandsons acting as pallbearers. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Porter and Son Funeral Home, Campton.
