ROSA FLORA INBODY
Rosa Flora Hunerdosse, daughter of Gerard and Martha Hunerdosse, was born in London, England, on Nov. 23, 1852, and departed this life Sunday, Nov. 24, 1940, at Newbern, Iowa, at the age of 88 years and 1 day.
She came with her parents to Marion county, Iowa, from England in 1855 and settled on a farm northeast of Newbern.
She was married Nov. 2, 1883, to William Inbody and to this union were born three daughters, Ellen, Maggie and Bertha, and one son, Willie.
She was preceded in death by her husband, two daughters, Ellen and Maggie, and her son, Willie. Bertha resides in Montana. She is also survived by one sister, Emma Mason, and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
She was in poor health for a long period of time and the last six years was confined to her bed.
She became a member of the Presbyterian church at Newbern in 1900.
Funeral services were held at the Newbern Federated church Tuesday afternoon and interment was at the local cemetery. Rev. Raymond Williamson had charge of the services with Rev. Melvin Myers assisting.
