Obituary, from the Wheatland, Wyoming, Record-Times, Wednesday?, 12? Sep 1934:

BRAWNER, MARY JANE HUNERDOSSE—After several years of failing health, Mrs. Mary Jane Brawner passed away at her home in the Lakeview community, Thursday, September 6, 1934, at the age of 82 years, 10 months, and 8 days. Mary Jane Hunerdosse was the daughter of Fredrick W. and Martha A. Hunerdosse; was born in London, England, October 29, 1852. When four years of age, she moved with her parents to the United States, settling near Newbern, Iowa, Marion County, where she grew up to young womanhood. In February 1884, she was united in marriage to John Brawner, who preceded her in death two years ago. To this union, 4 children were born, Edith Tickle, Chariton, Iowa; Herschel Brawner, Wheatland; Alpha McCormick, Ottumwa, Iowa; Martha Allen, Burwell, Nebr., all of whom survive her. She also leaves 13 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren, one brother of Indianola, Iowa [Philip]; and two sisters, Emma and Rosa of Lacona, Iowa, survive her. One sister and three brothers having preceded her to that great beyond. She, when a young girl, confessed her faith in her savior, and joined the Presbyterian Church, and remained a faithful member of that organization until her death. In 1910, she, with her husband and two children, Herschel and Martha, moved to Wyoming and took a homestead near the Lakeview post office, and thus are recorded to be among the very earliest of the settlers of that section of the county. Mrs. Brawner, being in failing health for several years, received the devoted care of her son Herschel and wife, who have made their home with her. Funeral services were held from the Baptist church Saturday, September 8, at 2 o'clock, Rev. Fonken of Veteran delivering the funeral address. Longwith Home [Longwith-Richards Funeral Home] services, was rendered at the church, and at the cemetery, where the body was laid to rest.
