DIED SUNDAY AT HOME OF DAUGHTER
Mordica L. Gregory Passed Away In Eureka, Kansas Resident Of Noble Township
Messages were received here today concerning the death of Mordica L. Gregory, a resident of Shelby
county practically all his life, who passed away Sunday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Hattie Braden, in Eureka, Kansas. The body is being sent to this city for funeral and burial. Mr. Gregory was born and reared in Noble township and was ninety-two years, four months, and twenty-two days old at the time of his death. He was probably one of the most widely known men in the county, due to his relation to many families of the community. Mr. Gregory had always engaged in farming and had attained a high degree of success in this field of endeavor. He was a member of the Southern Methodist Church. Surviving him is the daughter, at whose home he died, and one son, Charles Gregory in Canada. The body will be taken to the home of Herbert Gregory, 1028 Harrison Avenue, upon its arrival here Wednesday. The funeral and burial will be made in the Ogden cemetery. C. F. Fix & Son are the undertakers in charge.
