He was married to Florence C Bauer on June 14, 1949 at St. John the Baptist Church in St. John.

Jacob N. Mueller "Jake," age 84, passed away on Friday, November 26, 2010, at Parkside Care Center in Little Chute.
He was born on May 12, 1926, in Sherwood, son of the late Peter and Anna (Lettler) Mueller. On June 14, 1949, he was married to the former Florence Bauer at St. John Catholic Church in St. John.
Jake lived in the Sherwood area his entire life. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church where he was an usher for many years. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 7732.
Jake served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was stationed in the Philippines, Saigon and Guam. He was a member of the American Legion Thomas E. Kees Post 496. He had been employed at Thilmany Pulp & Paper for 38 years until retiring in 1988 and was a member of their Quarter Century Club.
Jake enjoyed playing cards, gardening and woodworking.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Florence; his six children: Cheryl (Al) Mooren, De Pere, Robert (Donna) Mueller, Appleton, Debra (Randy) Krause, Green Bay, Nancy (Ken) Kolbe, Hilbert, Sandy (John) Johnson, Kimberly, and Mary (Bob) Lessor, Kaukauna; 19 grandchildren and 20 greatgrandchildren; a brother, Ray (Rita) Mueller, Chilton; two sisters-in-law: Beatrice Mueller, Kaukauna and Grace Bauer, Sherwood.
Preceding him in death were his parents, a son Daniel, six brothers: Edmund, Bernard, Louis, Peter, Fred and Hilary; three sisters: Mary Ann Nash, Madeline Geiser and Erma Koehler; a stepbrother, Emery Krause, and two stepsisters: Margaret Kuepper and Gertrude Fahrbach.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, November 30, 2010, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, N369 Military Road in Sherwood with Fr. Philip Dinh-Van-Thiep celebrating.
