Mrs. Marion W. West
Mrs. Mary Couch West, 89, of 213
Piney Mountain Road, widow of
Marion W. West, died Friday.
Born at Piedmont in Anderson County,
she was a daughter of the late W.
Drayton and Clarrisey Jane Tinsley
Couch. Mrs. West was retired from
Southern Worsted Mills and was a
member of Leawood Baptist Church
and the T.E.L. Class of the Sunday
School.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs.
Albert Grico of Framingham, Mass.,
Miss Sarah J. West and Mrs. Doris
Simpson both of the home, a son,
Marion Walter West, Jr. of Brandon,
Florida; a brother, Perry Couch of
Greenville; ten grandchildren and
eleven great-grandchildren .
Funeral services will be Monday at
2:30 pm at The Mackey Mortuary
conducted by Rev. Gerald T. Hopkins
and Eddie Hammett.
The body is at the mortuary where
the family will receive friends Sunday
from 7 until 9 p.m.
The family is at the home.
