Mrs. Leer Dies
Had Spent Her Entire Life in and Around This City

Mrs. Mary Jersuha Leer, age 65 years, died at 11:00 o'clock last evening at the home of her son, Joseph Kilgore, where she had been ill for some time with a complication of diseases.
The deceased was a native of Grant county and her entire life had been spent in this section of the state. She was married when young to Gilbert Kilgore, deceased, and to their union four children were born. Two of them died when young, and the following survive, Joseph of this city and Elmer of Alexandria. Several years ago she was married to Charles Leer, who died about seven years ago. No children were born of this union.
Mrs. Leer had been a lifelong member of the New Light church an was an excellent Christian woman, loved and highly respected by all. The arrangements for the funeral have not yet been announced.
The funeral of Mrs. Leer will be held Thursday afternoon at the home of the son 2516 North C street, at 2 o'clock. Rev. Hillis L. Avery in charge, and interment will be in the Elwood cemetery.
