Peter and Hannah came here, like other Norwegians, Germans and Swedish during the 1800's migration. Neighbors said that Peter had black hair and a beard. They use to have rural dances in their barn ( The Grange). After they died, the kids sold the farm in 1916 and opened a saloon in Carver, Mn. They called the saloon " Charlies Place". The saloon building still stands in the year 2021. It is now a listed Historical Building.
