Charlies parents Peter and Johanna "Hannah" Sandberg came from Sweden to Minnesota in the 1870's . They bought a farm in Shakopee, Minnesota with 160 acres.
They use to have rural dances in their barn ( The Grange).
After they died, Charlie and his brother sold the farm in 1916 and opened a saloon in Carver, Mn. They called the saloon " Charlies Place". The saloon building still stands in the year 2021. It is now listed as a Historical Building.

Charlie Sandberg was single. His occupation was that of an orderly & janitor. Siegler mortuary on Blair Ave.
