Medford Lewis Clawson, 96, died at 8 PM Tuesday, March 14, 2000, at South Street Healthcare, where he had been a resident since November 1993. Born Oct. 6, 1903, near Radnor, in Carroll County, he attended Radnor Elementary School. He was married to Ruth L. Crawford on February 14, 1944, at Prymont; she died Jan. 2, 1990. Mr. Clawson worked plant protection at Alcoa Aluminum Co. for 25 years, retiring in 1965. Surviving are a son, Herbert Clawson of Colfax; a daughter, Mrs. Virginia Bloyd of Lafayette; four grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
