Abigail Alice Landon was born in Ravenswood, West Virginia, March 27, 1855, died at her home in Whiting, Kansas, April 3, 1920, aged 65 years and 7 days. Thirty-five years ago she came to Holton, Kansas, where later she was united in marriage to James B. Fritz, September 25, 1887. To them were born four children who survive. Early in life she was converted and united with the Methodist Church South, later uniting with the Methodist Episcopal Church of Circleville, Kansas, which was the place of residence of the family before coming to Whiting three years ago .... She leaves to mourn her loss. A husband, James B. Fritz, four children, Ethel E., Clarence O., Effie E., and Lulu J. Fritz ... she leaves an aged mother, three brothers and three sisters .... interment was made in the Holton cemetery ... Whiting Journal.
