"Mabel M. Winters, 99, of Berlin RD 1, died Sept. 30, 1982, at Somerset Community Hospital. Born Jan. 1, 1883, in Stonycreek Township, daughter of the late William and Hannah (Miller) Walker. Also preceded in death by her husband, John B., who died in 1957; three sisters; and five brothers. Survived by a daughter, Mrs. Gazella Strandquest, at home; a granddaughter, Mrs. Doris Lambert, at home; two great granddaughters, Mrs. Kathleen Lee of Somerset; and Jolee, Mt. Alto; also a great-great grandson, Jesse Lee, at home. Member of the Brotherton Church of the Brethren. Friends will be received Friday 4 to 9 p.m. at the Johnson-Kuhlman Funeral Home where services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, the Rev. Ralph E. Mills officiating. Interment, Brotherton Pike Cemetery."
