Daughter of William Howard Walker and Hannah (Miller) Walker. She was never married.

from The Republic, Meyersdale, Somerset Co, Pennsylvania, published 4 Apr 1963, Thu: "Miss Myrtle M. Walker, 80, Berlin RD 1, died March 26 in Meyersdale Sommunity Hospital where she had been a patient several weeks.

She was born Jan. 1, 1883, in Stonycreek Township, a daughter of William H. and Hannah (Miller) Walker.

Surviving are her twin sister, Mrs. Mabel M. Winters, Berlin RD 1, with whom she resided, and a number of nieces and nephews.

Miss Walker was secretary at Juniata College, Huntingdon, Pa., for a number of years. She was owner and operator of Myrtle's Style Shop in Berlin for 25 years. She was a member of The Brothersvalley Church of the Brethren.

The funeral was held at Johnson and Son Funeral Home, Thursday, March 28 at 3 p.m., the Rev. Herald V. Seese officiating. Interment in the Pike Cemetery near Brotherton."
