Peter A. Bastien, 81, a lifelong resident of Stephenson, died July 17 at St. Joseph-Lloyd Hospital in Menominee. Mr. Bastien was born Nov 23, 1887, in Stephenson and married the former Ada Mary Bunker (Verboncouer) on April 28, 1908. Following her death on Sept 28, 1961, he married Veronica Razawick in Nadeau on Sept 28, 1963. He was a retired employee of the Menominee County Road Commission and a member of the Holy Name Society of the Church of the Precious Blood. (Source: Menominee County Journal, dated July 24, 1969)
