Mary Aurora Bastien married Francis Joseph MacDonald at Gladstone, Delta County, Michigan on 6 June 1921.
The ceremony was conducted by the Reverend Fr. Bennett. Witnesses were James A. MacDonald (brother of the groom) from Watersmeet and Gertude McMann of Gladstone.

Mary Aurora's brother Adolph Bastien is buried near her at the Watersmeet Township Cemetery. Adolph was a Section Foreman for the C&NW Railroad and died of diphtheria while working in the Watersmeet area.
He was only 26 yrs old and left a wife and young child in Gladstone, MI.
