Rose Kubat was the daughter of Josef Kubat and Anna Maxa. She was the sister of Joseph, Frank, and Anna Antonia. Her mother died when she was 2 1/2 years old and her father died when she was 9 years old. Her parents are both buried at Bohemian Nationl Cemetery. She is found as an orphan in the 1910 Census in the Chicago Home for Girls. She married John Boyle Rose on May 28, 1913. She and John had three boys - Howard, John Jr.. and Charles.
