Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at St. John St. James Ev. Lutheran Church, Reedsville. Rev. David Kipfmiller will officiate with burial at Knollwood Memorial Gardens.
The former Adeline Wenzlaff was born Nov. 22, 1907, in Reedsville, daughter of the late William and Pauline Treichel Wenzlaff. She grew up and was educated in the Reedsville area. On January 12, 1926, she was married to Joseph E. Baroun, Jr. The couple farmed in the town of Franklin, their entire married lives. Joseph preceded her in death in 1975. She was a member of St. Johns St. James Ev. Lutheran Church. The ambitions homemakers of Taus, and also the Senior Citizens of Whitelaw and Reedsville.
Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Bernice and John Denor of Whitelaw, Germaine and Merlin Luedtke, Sr., of Cato; two sons and daughters-in-law, Kenneth and Shirley Baroun of Mishicot, Marvin and Susan Baroun of Appleton; 20 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survived. She was preceded in death by two grandchildren, one great grandchild, and one brother.
Friends may call at the Saur Funeral Home, Kellnersville, on Tuesday from 5 to 9 p.m. and at the church on Wednesday from 12:30 p.m. until the time of services. A memorial fund has been established for St. John St. James Ev. Lutheran Church.
