Funeral services will be at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Hague, ND, with Rev. Leonard Eckroth officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Cecilia Knoll was born March 26, 1921, on a farm near Strasburg, ND, the daughter of Karl and Katrina (Baumgartner) Keller.
She attended school in Strasburg, graduating from High School in 1940. Cecilia taught country school for a few years.
Cecilia married Peter H. Knoll on November 3, 1943 at St. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Strasburg. Following their marriage, they farmed northwest of Hague until retiring to Strasburg in 1981.
Cecilia entered the Strasburg Care Center in January of 2002. She enjoyed playing cards, quilting and playing bingo. Cecilia will always be remembered for her wedding kuchen.
She was a member of St. Mary's Society and Hague PTA.
Grateful to have shared her life are five sons and four daughters-in-law: Patrick and Mary Knoll of Fr. Collins, CO, Rodney Knoll of Denver, CO, Peter & Mary Knoll of Excelsior, MN, Michael Knoll and Jo Frandsen of Hague, ND and Arnold and Rita Knoll of Fr. Collins, CO; four daughters and two sons-in-law: Kathleen and Clayton Priewe of Mesa, AZ, Cecilia Johnson of Osseo, MN, Audrey Major of Denver, CO, and Carleen & Jeff Thomas of Denver, CO; twenty-one grandchildren and one great grandchild, three brothers and two sisters-in-law: Gene Keller of Bismarck, ND, Charles, Sr. and Theresa Keller of Strasburg, ND and Bob & Mary Lou Keller of Hoven, SD; and seven sisters and five brothers-in-law: Ella and Joe Eckroth of Strasburg, ND, Bernie and Joe Materi of Strasburg, ND, Geneva and Jim McCord of Bismarck, ND, Hilda Horner of Bismarck, ND, Harleen & Ken Walther of Coon Rapids, MN, Henrietta Robinson of Englewood, CO and Ursula and George Jr. Masseth of Mandan, ND.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Peter in 1982, one daughter, Bernadine Knoll in 2005, five sisters, Marie, Helen, Barbara, Katie and Agatha, and two brothers, Alois and Anthony.
