Birth date from her mother's Bible, (whereabouts of Bible unknown today). We know her father's name was James and believe that her mother was Mary Akers. Mary Ann married Thomas Tanner Hitchcock 15 Jan 1844 in Westminster. They had at least three children, Mary (1844-1943), Thomas (1846-1846), and Joseph Thomas (1849-1926). She died of phthisis in the district of St. John the Evangelist, Westminster, Middlesex, England.
