Texas Coaster, May 16, 1957:

Final rites were held Tuesday for Frank Lewandowski, 57, from the Triska Chapel followed by Requiem Mass at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Richmond, with Rev. C. Fowler officiating.

Mr. Lewandowski was born on October 2 in Chappell Hill. In 1921, he married Miss Veronica Tomczak in Chappell Hill. In 1929, he moved with his family to Richmond where he was engaged in farming. He passed away at his home Sunday following a heart attack.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Veronica Lewandowski; two sons, Maxie of Delmento and Clement of Richmond; three daughters, Mrs. Theresa Bailey and Mrs. Regina Michalak, both of Houston, and Mrs. Eva Bennett of Clodine; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Lewandowski of Chappell Hill; three brothers, Joe and Pete of Chappell Hill, and Leon of Houston; three sisters, Mrs. Rosalie Bagwell and Mrs. Helen Zievert of Houston, and Mrs. Mary Moszkowicz of Chappell Hill; and eleven grandchildren.

Interment was held in the Garden of Gethsemane in Rosenberg, with the Triska Funeral Home directing.
