He was a longtime member of American Legion, VFW and the Elks Lodge. He enjoyed watching game shows and western movies. Albert loved his canine companions, Brownie, Lady and Boots.
He is preceded in death by his loving and devoted wife Charlotte Overfield.
Survivors include his sons Robin Overfield of Harlingen, Daniel (Grace Darlene) Overfield of Florida and Albert (Kathy) Overfield, Jr. of Nebraska; 5 grandchildren Jason, Robert, Katlin, Kira and Tyler; 1 great grandchild Adrianna; special friend and caregiver San Juanita Torres.
Visitation will be held in the Rudy Garza Funeral Home Chapel.
Chapel services will be conducted in the Rudy Garza Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Ashland Memorial Park under the auspices of the American Legion Post # 205.
Arrangements are under the direction of Rudy Garza Funeral Home in Harlingen.
