Retha Jane Bain, age 80, died Monday, March 23, 2015 at the East Prairie Nursing Center in East Prairie, Missouri.

Born January 22, 1935 in Camden, Tennessee to the late John Herman and Lillie Mae (McMurtry) Bain, Retha lived most of her life in East Prairie. She was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by one brother, George Bain of East Prairie; one sister, Sue Bain of East Prairie; several nieces and nephews; and several great-great nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, two brothers; four sisters; three nephews; and one niece preceded her in death.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 25, from noon until time of funeral services at 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church in East Prairie. Bro. George White and Bro. Jim Moore will be officiating.

Burial will follow in the Dogwood Cemetery at Dogwood, Missouri.

Pallbearers will be Tom Traxler, Tony Childers, Jay Childers, Jimbo Taylor, Tom Kelsey, Randy Woods, Don Collins and Eddie Summerlot.
