James J. Neumeyer, age 58, a resident of Rock Ledge Adult Family Home, Luxemburg, died Thursday evening, December 15, 2016 at the home.

He was born on June 25, 1958 in Cleveland, Ohio, son of the late Clarence and Virginia (Stueber) Neumeyer. Jim was a graduate of Merrillville High School, Merrillville, Indiana. He was a self employed furniture maker and wood worker.

Survivors include two brothers and sisters-in-law: Thomas & Patricia Neumeyer, Mentone, CA., Dale & Carolyn Neumeyer, Cato; and three sisters and four brothers-in-law: Jane & Ronald Fallier Sr., Cato, Denise & Kurt Sikes, Franklin, IN., Bonnie & Milan Trisic, Crown Point, IN., and Robert Benson, Hobart, IN. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. He was also preceded in death by two brothers: Robert Neumeyer, John (Jack) Neumeyer; one sister: Kim Benson and an infant nephew: Angel Trisic.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at St. Francis of Assisi on Grand (1416 Grand Avenue) Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. David Beaudry with entombment at Knollwood Mausoleum, town of Kossuth.
