Mrs. Mary Denk, 81, of 1010 S. 21st St., Manitowoc, died Saturday
at the home following a lingering illness.
Funeral services will be conducted at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc and at 9 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church. The Rev. Alfred Pritzl will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
The former Mary Handl was born in Manitowoc Feb. 21, 1872, and
was married to Joseph Denk Nov. 20, 1897. She was a member of
the St. Ann Christian Mothers Society of St. Boniface Church. The
husband died in 1945.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Joseph Kotowski, Miss Anna
Denk and Miss Elsia Denk of Manitowoc; two sons, Richard and Paul
of Manitowoc; three brothers, Louis Handl, Michael Handl and Joseph Handl of Manitowoc; three sisters, Mrs. F. G. Williams of Milwaukee, Mrs. George Simmer of Manitowoc Rapids and Mrs. John Schroeder of Manitowoc; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home until the hour of services. The
rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Monday.
