Jane Annal Harter, 77, of 2983 W. Main St., Parish, died Tuesday. Born in Oswego, she graduated from St. Paul's Academy, Oswego High School and in 1946 from State University College at Oswego. She retired in 1971 as a first-grade teacher at Altmar-Parish-Williamstown Central School after 25 years. She was a communicant of St. Ann's Church in Parish. She was a member of area senior citizens groups, New York State Retired Teacher's Association and Tuesday Morning Golf League at Emerald Crest Golf Course, Palermo.
Survivors: Her husband of 52 years, Robert W.; two daughters, Bonnie J. Campbell of Elmira and Ann R. Houghton of Lacona; a son, Chip of Mexico; two sisters, Mary L. Barry of Rochester and Helen Brown of New Castle, Del.; eight grandchildren. Services: 11 a.m. Saturday in St. Ann's Church. Burial, Pleasant Lawn Cemetery.
