The former JoAnne Brennan was born on March 18, 1954, in Michigan City, IN, daughter of the late Joseph “Spot” and Josephine (Kugle) Brennan. On October 19, 1979 JoAnne was married to Allen C. Peterson in Ellison Bay. She worked as a cashier for Oneida Bingo and Casino retiring in 2013. JoAnne enjoyed her family and cooking.
Survivors include her husband: Allen C. Peterson, Two Rivers; her three children: Christina Peterson, Two Rivers; Mike Peterson, Manitowoc and his fiancée: Stacy Wetenkamp; Joseph Peterson, Two Rivers and his fiancée: Halli Koeppe; four grandchildren: Jessica Peterson, Christopher Orosco, Amanda Orosco and Jordan Peterson; one sister and brother-in-law: Mary (Jack) De Faut, Eagle River; two aunts: Regina Lonzo, Two Rivers; Audrey Kugle, Manitowoc; other relatives and friends survive. She was preceded in death by her parents: Joseph “Spot” and Josephine Brennan.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at St. Peter the Fisherman Parish, 3218 Tannery Road, Two Rivers. with burial of her cremated remains to take place privately at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Reedsville. Relatives and friends may call at the church on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00 a.m. The Jens Family Funeral Home and Crematory of Manitowoc is assisting the Peterson family with funeral arrangements.
