Alois J. Holschbach , 57, of Rt. 3, Manitowoc, died early Sunday at the Holy Family Hospital following a short illness.
Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Wednesday at the Pfeffer Funeral Home and at 9:30 at the St. Andrew Catholic Church. The Rev. Henry Letz will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.

Mr. Holschbach was born in the town of Kossuth in 1895. For the past 22 years he had lived on Rt. 3. He was employed during the last 15 years as a carpenter at the Manitowoc Shipbuilding Company and the Burger
Boat Company. He was a member of the Holy Name Society at St. Andrew.In 1920, Mr. Holschbach married the former Lillian Ackerman.

Surviving are the wife; three daughters, Mrs. Thomas Walsh of Rt. 1, Newton, Mrs. Victor Meyer of Rt. 1, Miss Claireann and Miss Elaine at home; six sons, Harold of Rt. 1, John of Manitowoc, and Earl, Orville, Frederick and Gerald at home; five brothers, Edmund, Paul
and Robert of Manitowoc, Ernest of Rt. 2 and Peter of Rt. 5; four sisters, Mrs. Michael Mohr and Mrs. Herbert Heineen of Manitowoc, Mrs. Anna Hartman of Rt. 3 and Sister Mary Harriet of the Holy Family Convent.

Friends may call at the Pfeffer Funeral Home from 3 p.m. Tuesday. The Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Tuesday.
