MARCELLA HOLSCHBACH

Marcella M. Holschbach, age 92, a resident of St. Mary's Nursing Home, Manitowoc, died late Wednesday evening, Nov. 27, 2002 at the home. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 2, 2002 at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Camillus Janas O.F.M. with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.

Marcella was born on Oct. 27, 1910 in School Hill, Wis., daughter of the late Andrew and Clara Bonde Bushman. On Oct. 25, 1933 she married Arnold Holschbach at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Alverno. He preceded her in death in March 1973.

Survivors include a daughter: Lorraine Strauss, Manitowoc; a son and daughter-in-law: Daniel and Diane Holschbach, Shawano; a stepdaughter: Gladys Kohl, Manitowoc; 15 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; three stepgreat-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; four sisters and three brothers-in-law; Julitta Wagner, Manitowoc; Mary and Roland LeCompte, Oregon; Mildred and Richard Bogenschuetz, Cleveland; Lucille and Robert Strauss, Manitowoc; two brothers and one sister-in-law: Andrew Bushman, Manitowoc; Robert and Rosie Bushman, Manitowoc; three sisters-in-law: Mrs. Joseph (Louella) Bushman, St. Nazianz; Mrs. Raymond (Rose Mary) Bushman, Sheboygan; Hattie Bushman, Ohio. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Marcella was also preceded in death by a stepson: Edward; four brothers: Raymond, Odilo, Joseph and Daniel Bushman; four sisters: Margaret Schill, Aurelia Kohlbeck, Cecelia Bushman and Rosalia Martzahl; one granddaughter; one stepgranddaughter; a son-in-law: Francis Strauss; and a stepson-in-law: Eugene Kohl.

Marcella was further preceded in death by many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. The family will greet relatives and friends on Monday, Dec. 2, 2002 at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc, from 9 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. The Pfeffer Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Manitowoc, is assisting the Holschbach family with funeral arrangements.
