Nic J. Everard, 75, of 734 S. 30th St., Manitowoc, died unexpectedly Sunday afternoon, January 6, 1991.
Funeral esrvices will be 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and 10 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Presiding the Mass of Christian Burial will be Rev. Gerald Prusakowski O.F.M. with entombment to follow at Calvary Mausoleum.
He was born August 16, 1915, in Caspian, Michigan, son of the late Nicholas and Margaret Basting Everard. He married the former Elaine Behrendt on May 14, 1937, at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc. He attended the Manitowoc Parochial School Systems and was one o the original performers in Manitowoc's Billy Schultz Circus. He was employed as a Machinist with the Manitowoc Company for 40 years, retiring in 1980. HE served as a Veteran in World War II and the Korean Conflict with the United States Navy. He was a member of Kiwanis and the Machinists Local 516. Mr. Everard was an active volunteer for the Manitowoc Senior Center with the Meals On Wheels Program.
Survivors include his wife, Elaine Everard of Manitowoc; a daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Robert L. Johnson of Manitowoc; three grandchildren, Scott Johnson and his wife, Betsy of Milwaukee, Wendy Johnson of Appleton, Amy Johnson of Manitowoc; a brother nad sister-in-law, John and Marion Everard of Arvada, Colorado; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Octavia and Merlin Brose of Manitowoc, Katherine and Edward Jagemann of Manitowoc; nieces; nephews; other erlatives and friends. He was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph, and two sisters, Louise and Irma.
Friends may call at Pfeffer funeral Home, 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, where a prayer service will be held at 7:30 p.m. by deacon William Klein.
Dad, you left us so suddenly and we didn't get to say goodbye. We all love you so very much and you will never be out of our thoughts.
