MINEVILLE, N.Y. - Mary (Huchro) Simpson, age 95, of Mineville, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 20th 2005 at the Horace Nye Nursing Home in Elizabethtown, N.Y.
Mary was born on August 12th 1909 in Mineville, N.Y., she was the daughter of Martin and Victoria (Wilk) Huchro.
She married Ralph Simpson Sr. on August 20th 1937.
She lived most of her adult life in Mineville, N.Y. as well as several years in Warrensburg, N.Y.
Mary Operated the Club Restaurant in Mineville, N.Y. for more than 40 years.
She was a member of the Mineville-Witherbee Home Bureau for many years.
She was a communicant of the St. Michael's Church in Witherbee, N.Y. and St. Cecilia's Church in Warrensburg, N.Y.
In addition to her parents, Mary was predeceased by her husband; Ralph Simpson on August 14th 1960, and two brothers; Paul and John Huchro.
Arrangements by the Harland Funeral Home in Port Henry, N.Y.
Burial will be later in the spring at the Union Cemetery in Port Henry, N.Y.
